Polymer clay tutorial: Cake slice charms!

It's finally time for another tutorial! I knew I was going to do something 'iconic' of my Cute Enough to Eat stuff, but I wasn't sure what. I ran a poll, I asked around... and everything seemed to be pretty much tied up; there were no strong leaders. For me, indecision is a huge procrastination tool, so I sat on it for a while. Then, I got a commission for some teeny cake slices, and so it was decided!

Hand-bound Goal Journal for 2013

I follow a lot of craft blogs. I'm not organised in my following- no RSS feeds or anything like that- just a big folder of bookmarks that I middle-click, and then watch as tabs fill my browser, waiting to be, well, browsed. Just before the new year, Sarah over at sah-rah.com shared a great idea of making lots of little resolutions instead of a few big ones. Mini-goals that might not be completed, but could be. I really liked the idea, and wanted to put these goals together somehow. I also wanted to bind a little journal, so I decided to make a notebook for my goals- and then some.

It's time for another- Crafty Creatives box 7

We've passed the second Monday of January already? Can you believe it, because I can't. And today is the THIRD Tuesday. I need to stop thinking about how I've "lost" half a month now and focus on something that's a nice light in my craziness: my Crafty Creatives box! The theme this month is a fantastic one, and not at all what I thought it might be. Spoilers after the jump.

A few Crafty Creations

Crafty Creatives Box 6 came at an insanely busy time for me. I loved the contents but didn't have much time to craft and then wait for good light to photograph as well. So even while we're looking forward to box 7 next week, here are some creations I've made with the box 6 goodies!

Christmas 2012 commission fun!

This entry is long overdue, but I wanted to be sure all gifts were received before I posted it! So without further ado, here is my 'epic' entry of the best Christmas commissions I did this year.
